This weekend I had the privilege of being a part of the Shalom Women's Conference with Fairview Mountain Ministries. A precious group of women gathered on the top of Cherry Mountain in North Carolina for a time of encouragement and Bible study.
The picture above is just one of the beautiful scenes along the road to the top of the steep, rain-slick path. This was not terrain that I'm used to driving. (I'm normally clinging to the passenger-side door while Matt handles the road.)
Even on the rainy day, the atmosphere was peaceful and God-filled. We all came together for one purpose...to encounter Shalom Jehovah - The God of Peace.
